What should I do to clean my C drive in windows 7 very often it was full by unwanted things?

I use windows 7. whenever I logged as a administrator my user folder in C has been dumbed by some thing. Hence C 's free disk space is reduced sharply . when I search the folders size c:\user shows me something 4GB to 6 GB How can I regain the disk space.
