Need a new Verizon phone?

I need to get a new phone, I've got Verizon, but it seems as though every phone review I've read has some serious drawbacks. I prefer physical keyboards, but I can deal with touchscreens; I'm afraid of breaking the screen though. As for phones that sync to computers, I have a MacBook Pro. Does anyone have any ideas BESIDES an iPhone? Thanks!
