My iPod isn't syncing! Help needed!!?

I went to a friends house where there is wi-fi and downloaded some apps onto my iPod. Now I came home and my iPod wont sync onto my computer and says 'iPod couldn't be synced because the disk was not found'. What should I do to make it sync?? :(
